Sinopse

Five bodies move to the rhythm of a metronome. Their mechanical gestures are endlessly reprised, the machine runs wild and demands their absolute compliance. With her ripened artistic language, Catherine Gaudet surrounds herself with her loyal collaborators to explore the false pretenses of the show business apparatus. With her ripened artistic language, the choreographer seeks a space within bodies where desires can be reborn despite the burden of constriction. — Compagnie Catherine Gaudet

The dancer and choreographer Catherine Gaudet founded her own company in 2019 in Montreal, Canada. Her repertoire includes several short pieces and six longer shows, including Tout ce qui va revient and L’affadissment du merveilleux, which was presented at DDD 2021. Gaudet was one of the creative minds behind the VERTIGO creation centre and is an associate creator of Daniel Léveille Danse (DLD), which supports and ensures the logistical management of her tours.
