In post-war Berlin, Damiel and Cassiel are two angels who roam the city. Invisible to mortals, they read your thoughts and try to comfort the souls they encounter. Meanwhile, one of the angels falls in love with a trapeze artist, and wants to become human in order to experience the joys and sorrows of each day. With a wonderful photograph of the legendary Henri Alekan and Nick Cave in concert.

Travis Henderson, missing for four years, reappears in the US desert, exhausted and with amnesia. His little son, Hunter, is in the custody of Uncle Walt, Travis's brother. Gradually and with Walt's support, Travis begins to remember his life. And, as strangers, Travis and Hunter begin to build a friendship and try to find Jane, Travis' ex-wife and Hunter's mother, to bring her back and form a real family. Collaborating with Sam Shepard on the screenplay, Wenders crafts an iconic portrait of America.
