Festival Porta-Jazz

In the first week of December, Porto welcomes over a hundred musicians and music students, both Portuguese and from abroad. The programme comprises roughly twenty concerts, including premieres and artistic partnerships, at Teatro Rivoli, Casa da Música, FEUP, Passos Manuel, Sala Porta-Jazz and ESMAE, among other venues. Porta-Jazz takes place annually since 2010 and plays a relevant part in the city’s cultural life, standing out as the largest jazz festival in Portugal year in, year out.
