Sinopse

The shadows, darkness, silence, noises in the street and movements in the house give rise to fantasy thoughts, fears and fascination. Based on a project undertaken with schools at different creative stages, “Nocturno”is inspired by nights of many kinds – in the village and city, in the open or in unlikely shelters. The sounds and experiences, with or without stars, differ but it is always under the same dark sky.

Joana Gama (Braga, 1983) is a pianist. Besides her solo work, in recent years she has been involved as a pianist, composer and performer in projects that ally music with dance, theatre, film and photography.

Victor Hugo Pontes was born in Guimarãesin 1978. His career as a choreographer began to take off in 2003 with the piece “Puzzle”. Since then, he has consolidated his choreographical style, staging performances throughout the country as well as in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, Austria and Brazil, amongst others. Since 2009, he has been the artistic director of Nome Próprio – Associação Cultural, based in Porto.
