Sinopse
A black box that performs a rehearsal on gravity, gesture and opacity, where the vestiges of presence, language and actions sustain an intangible landscape. The pre-linguistic impetus of the voice and the crystallisation of action feed a system made from the ruin of linkages; vertigo emerges as the sole mediator in this constantly moving resonance mechanism. Iridescent motors, freefall, sparkling and steam in an echo chamber.
Jonathan Uliel Saldanha is a sound and stage designer whose work examines elements of pre-language, crystallisation, animism and echo. He is one half of the production duo Fujako, director of the HHY & The Macumbas project and was the founder of the SOOPA collective, a producer and planner of concerts and performances started in Porto in 1999.
