Sinopse
When (is) the time to (re)dance? In this encounter it is important to think about the specific temporality of the act of "remaking", "reenacting", "reviving", "reconstructing" a dance. A question that opens up other questions, both dramaturgical and choreographic, historical and political. Taking as a starting point the staging of Francisco Camacho's 1997 play, Gust, in 2023, we will see how, and in the limit, to inquire when it is time to redance, is to inquire if time is something that is, or if something that is (re)done. — Andrew Lepecki
