Sinopse

After ONE SONG, Belgian artist Miet Warlop, now creates an ode to imagination a wave of wonder and pleasure. In Inhale Delirium Exhale, Warlop seeks to make tangible the inner turbulence of the creative process. Accompanied by a group of performers and more than 4000 meters of silk fabric. Images erupt, propelled by DEEWEE‘s music, in a choreography that unfolds like a ritual concert, a performance that is poetic and powerful, at the same time steeped in irony. A deep dive into a visual universe that is as immersive as it is overwhelming – into the delirium that arises between one breath and the next. — Irene Wool

Author's bio text

For the past fifteen years, and with great international success, Miet Warlop has explored the crossover between theater, visual arts, music and dance. Creating her own universe on stage, like in her exhibitions, Miet breaks down the classical definitions of genres with energy, rock ‘n roll, visual poetry and humour. Her continuous artistic research expresses her need for the iconic and the mythical, while illustrating – and embracing – the absurd of the artistic ritual.
