Sinopse
When Gagarin went into space in 1961, and then with the photographs from the Apollo mission, we were able to see Earth as a whole for the first time thanks to photography and the technique that reproduced it and enabled us to leave it—to see it from outside. The impact of looking at it as a planet and not as a support is critical. Throughout history we’ve chopped it into countries and maps unconsciously, according to violent geopolitics, and we’ve divided humans by nations and races. Now we are forced to rethink all that’s been done. That object now moves from under our feet weighing on everything we’ve inherited and on all of us, demanding new possibilities of being inhabited.
