Director Joseph Fulton applies for a job as a gardener's assistant at a local cemetery – he just wants to keep busy and get closer to nature, while also deciding to put some matters in order by writing his will. But family, friends and neighbors misinterpret the situation and think that he suffers from a terminal illness.
