Regarding dance as a common language, he looks for an alternative way of living together and dissolving the barriers between performers and audience. “Invited” is performed by an intergenerational group of dancers mirroring contemporary society. The audience plays a key role and will be given the opportunity to take control. The scenic device divides and unites, appears and disappears, leading both performers and audience through a collectively written story.

Seppe Baeyens (1981) started his career as a dancer with fABULEUS and later performed with Kopergietery, Kabinet k, Productiehuis Brabant, Ontroerend Goed and Miet Warlop, among others. Since the beginning of his career as a performing artist, Baeyens has regarded intergenerational work as being essential to showing the most human and vulnerable form of dance. His artistic creations are inseparably linked to the imperfection of dance and the way different generations relate to it.
