Emerging from Tokyo’s underground scene, Tō Yō is a psychedelic rock quartet that blends the rich legacy of Japanese psychedelia with the sensibilities of contemporary urban life. Rooted in experimentation, their ever-evolving sound moves effortlessly between heavy, doom-infused textures and hypnotic krautrock-inspired grooves, embracing diverse influences from Far East Family Band, J. A. Seazer and Jimi Hendrix. Following acclaimed European tours in 2024 and 2025, including performances at SonicBlast Fest and Freak Valley Festival, the band is set to release its long-awaited second album in autumn 2026.
