Understage

After many years leaving his mark in doom metal, Patrick Walker gradually moved away from the scene through 40 Watt Sun’s music, a project that preserves that familiar solemnity but draws closer and closer to folk. In “Perfect Light”, released in 2022, Walker departs almost entirely from the concept of a band, presenting such a personal album that it could have been released under his own name. Raw in its despair but hopeful in its cadence, we’re led to accompany the British singer-songwriter on an emotional trip that evades verbal descriptions and has to be lived by the listeners.
Accompanied by his acoustic guitar, vulnerable despite his imposing figure, Patrick Walker will share the weight of his music through a show that will also be marked by his dry sense of humour, that of a natural storyteller which will have, in this context, a chance to get even closer to his audience.
