Accessibility for neurodivergent people

Whenever possible, we provide useful information regarding the light, sound or other conditions of a performance or activity, such as the use of strobe lights.

If you would like more information about these conditions in any of the performances or activities, you can write to us at bilheteira.tmp@agoraporto.pt.

Our theatres have relatively quiet and less crowded areas. Feel free to look for a more secluded spot if necessary.

Portuguese Sign Language Interpretation (PSLI)

In these sessions, the text will be interpreted in Portuguese Sign Language (LGP).

We try to make the on-stage interpretation as accessible and as integrated into the scene as possible. However, in some sessions, the person interpreting in LGP may be located on one side of the stage, considering the characteristics of the performance.

Audio description and braille

In these sessions, the performances become more accessible to people with visual impairment. This practice consists of the live description of the visual content of the performance, using individual headphones. If you need this equipment or want to try audio description, ask the ushers for headphones.

In these sessions, one hour before the start of the performance, people with visual impairment are given a moment to recognize the stage. If you prefer, you can inform us of your participation at bilheteira.tmp@agoraporto.pt.

According to Decree-Law no. 74/2007 of March 27, you can be accompanied by an assistance animal, including in theatres. The animal must carry its badge in a clearly visible way. You may be asked for the animal's identification card; you must bring this document with you.

We have two printed brochures with useful information about the performances with audio description in Braille. You can ask to see them at our ticket counters.
