Cláudia Nóvoa / Hipótese Contínua

Cláudia Nóvoa began her dance training with Pirmin Treku at the age of six. In 1985, she joined the Ballet Gulbenkian, where she remained as a dancer until the company closed in 2005. In 2004, she attended the Gulbenkian Programme for Creativity and Artistic Creation and, in 2007, completed a postgraduate degree in Education through the Arts. She has created shows such as The Emotion of the Moth Hovering Over a Waterfall of Thoughts, Loneliness in Bundles, Cold Loneliness, Clouds of Loneliness, Loneliness with Everyone, Beladepasmar, Bern, No. 49 Kramgasse, She and the World, the World in Her, Eyes of Sand, Sea of People, World Sea, Patchwork Love, and A Certain Portuguese-ness. In 2022, she founded the Hipótese Contínua Cultural Association. She collaborates regularly with various directors, working in dance, circus and theatre. Since 2005, she has been teaching at various schools and educational institutions. 

Hipótese Contínua is a cultural association founded in 2022. Its aim is to implement and develop initiatives that contribute to the promotion and public dissemination of the arts and culture in their various forms and activities, including intellectual creation in the artistic, scientific and literary fields. Includes the following works: Um Homem e o seu Criado, Coreto Con(vida), Roda-Viva(a menina e o círculo), Eureza, Outsidein e Quebra-Cabeças.
