Sinopse
Drawing great inspiration from the work of Josué de Castro, Fome de Lama [Mud Hunger] seeks to explore the internal and external balance of Man driven by his hunger. A constant struggle for existence like a famished animal whose instincts control the psyche. Enslaved, Man’s hand looks for life, sinking in the mud. He is absorbed by it and gets stuck in his own cycle of misery and despair, an entanglement of roots from Nature and society that make up the mangrove. Surrounded and suspended in the ropes, the starving Man perishes. — Douglas Melo
