Sinopse
Se fosse um filme explores the possibilities of sound in cinema as a way of rethinking the theatrical scene. A play in which sound dramatises, fictionalises or reinterprets the images it encounters, creating a sense of strangeness or humour, or becoming a metaphor that oscillates between the plausible and the unreal. This interweaving of narrative elements — sound linked to the cinematic and the stage — reveals the potential of both. Author's bio text
Macarena Recuerda has a degree in performing arts, theatre and dance. She graduated from the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and is primarily interested in participatory projects that aim to create new ways of engaging with art. Since 2012, her research has centred on the role of the audience. She devises new spaces for playing, creating and thinking together. Her research is divided into two areas of focus: one focusing on language on stage and the other on participatory and educational spaces.
