Sinopse

Wanting to know what Plato said to Ariana Grande is a gesture of resistance to the stubbornness of opposing serious and informal, scholar and mainstream, on-line and off-line, technology and live meeting, distance and proximity, virtual and real, true and false. In What Plato Said to Ariana Grande, we make use of conversation, which is a cross-cutting reflexion strategy from philosophy to the podcast format, in order to look at the procedures that seek to limit and separate, thus rendering bodies and experiences invisible. For that very reason, we listen to pluralistic subjective experiences in this performance-radio (that includes a later broadcast that can be heard on-line). In these two presentations, we shall discuss the importance of the mechanisms of phantasy production and projection when it comes to building an identity. – Mafalda Banquart and Emanuel Santos
