Sinopse
Some of the problems of the Carquejeiras era - the 19th and early 20th centuries - are still a reason to take to the streets with clenched fists. Others are just different.
In a digital age in which we are witnessing the capitalization of bodies and their hypersexualization, it is urgent that we reflect on the contemporary carquejeiras, but also preserve and praise the invisible memory of the “human hedgehogs” who climbed the old Calçada da Corticeira with the weight of 20 ultra HD televisions.
Through repetitions, gestures, breathing and tapping, the creator shares her concerns as a woman, in the struggle for all those who are and those who wish they were. — Magda
