A nursery school teacher by training, Margarida Mestre underwent training in sound design and dance at Fórum Dança. She also has a master’s degree in performing arts – movement theatre from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. She is the author of poetry performances for both adults and children, such as “Tudo Gira” [Everything Spins], “Poemas para bocas pequenas” [Poems for Little Mouths], “Balada das vinte meninas friorentas” [Ballad of the Twenty Chilly Girls] and her latest one, “Marinho” [Maritime].
