Ways of Occupying

The pandemic has exposed everything. What we didn’t have and what we will always have, what we can aim for and what we want to target. The crisis has multiplied the questions but has not multiplied the answers. What follows in Culture and the Arts, in the conditions of its professionals, in the space for creators and for divergent thinking, in the articulation of central, local and private power, in institutions and independent companies, in access to culture by viewers? Come and put your finger on the wound.


The journalist PEDRO SANTOS GUERREIRO answered the challenge presented by TMP and came up with a series of 9 lectures called “Waysof Occupying”, which derive from 9 performances taken from our programme for this season. The lectures won’t be about the performances, but rather based on issues arising from those performances that will help us reflect upon different “Ways of Occupying”. There will always be an outside guest from the most diverse disciplinary fields, and another one linked to our performances. We’ll dive into deep waters and address different topics.
