Entre Tempos [Between times] • Meeting a group of youngsters to develop a choreographic project is always a challenge. I’m interested in creating a performing device that will simultaneously stimulate them creatively, make them reflect upon dance, and make them feel the world through their dances. The group will be greatly involved in developing the project, and we will set archival and repertoire material against yet unidentified material. — Né Barros

Né Barros is a coreographer and dancer. Throughout his career he has focused on developing the link between his artistic and scientific works. 



Max e René [Max and René] • This theatre project is the result of work based on an unpublished text by José Maria Vieira Mendes, “Max e René – Um monólogo e um cão”, which was originally posted on the publishing house Cotovia’s blog, and which discusses how language and grammar fail to account for certain identities. In the play, the main character keeps looking for visibility, and learns how to better fight for his existence from love.

José Maria Vieira Mendes mostly writes theatre plays and occasionally translates. He is a member of Teatro Praga since 2008. His plays have been translated into over a dozen languages.
