Sinopse
DUARTE VALADARES / RUBBLE KING
Rubble King introduces a short attention span, archetype probing creature. An entity within a sandbox, Artificial Intelligence Insemination, a place of limitless information, an overly productive circuit searching for archetypes to feed on. This universal body is a viral one, an unfiltered circuit, randomly interrupted by self-satisfaction. Glimpses of real movement structures are present as if hovering clouds and pocking thoughts. Shift, shift, shift, various states through shifting attention and dodging completion, a rational ridicule.
Duarte coreografou "Dry Mouth" em 2015, "State of Doubt" em 2016, “We can buy a Basquiat but we can't hold hands” com Jonas Verwerftem 2017 e “Ruble King” em 2018.
CARMINDA SOARES & MARIA R. SOARES / IT'S A LONG YESTERDAY
One or to bodies; six at most.
It’s a long yesterday is an exercise on desire, fracture and multiplication.
CARMINDA SOARES and MARIA R. SOARES are ballerinas and young creators. In 2017, they started working on Qua.se poema [um fragmento] [Near-ly Poem [A Fragment]], co-produced by Teatro Municipal do Porto and Companhia Instável in the scope of the Palcos Instáveis programme. Together they’re associated artists at Visões Úteis for the 2019/2020 biennium. They both worked professionally with The North Contemporary Ballet (under invited choreographers Joclécio Azevedo, Jorge Gonçalves and Catarina Campos), Victor Hugo Pontes, Marianela Boán, Eduardo Torroja, Lara Russo and Nuno Preto. Among their dance training they highlight the contemporary dance professional programme Art Factory International (Bologna) and the Advanced Training in Performance and Choreographic Creation (Companhia Instável, Porto).
