Sinopse

Our starting point was the archive of Teatro Experimental do Porto. We opened drawers and dusted. We went through newspaper clippings, telegrams, rehearsal schedules and Censorship cuts; minutes, contracts and account reports; photographs, recordings and performance programmes... and all of a sudden they’re no longer just papers. They’re stories, memories and people. They’re unfulfilled dreams and conquests of several years. They’re divorces, weddings and stolen kisses at the entrance to the dressing room. They’re the living and the dead, real and imagined. It is a crossing between what we read and what we imagined happened, an attempt to retrieve the unanswered letter, and all those lives that, like a paper, also have three ages. We are not sure as to how this happened. It is a collage, an appropriation, an effort.

Sara Barros Leitão was born in Porto, in 1990. She has a degree in acting from Academia Contemporânea do Espetáculo. She regularly works in film and television. She made her debut in theatre in William Shakespeare’s tragedy, “Romeo and Juliet”, produced by Teatro do Bolhão. She works as actress, creator, assistant director and producer. She is co-artistic director at Carruagem –Tráfego de Ideias .
