Among many Sierva María de Todos los Ángeles, Of Love and Other Demons (Do Amor e Outros Demónios) / Mariana Alcoforado, New Portuguese Letters (Novas Cartas Portuguesas) locked, each one in her cell, each one in her monastery, as if buried alive. Those are the images behind amor.demónio [love.demon]. Possibilities of some other meaning. Spectres of other women, other times both gone and yet to come. Teresa de Ávila, Juana Inés de la Cruz, Johannas de Ledes. Outlines of other ways of seeing, of other possible worlds vanishing lines that meet there where they get lost. An altar of ghosts to haunt the future.

RAQUEL S. (Monção, 1986) has a degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in literary, cultural and interart studies. She’s a dramatist and playwright, and she also wrote texts other than drama, some of which were published.
